I know this is a way for us to be self reflective and improve. Perhaps you are frustrated with the way something was handled. Remember, insurance, for instance, is very complicated and the rules and procedures are widely varied from the hundreds of plans. We will not jump to conclusions and ask you for the same. Let's be positive and be nice. We will work hard to correct the problem. This method is confidential. A private conversation ensures that the doctor-patient relationship is confidential and strong. I will entertain complaints but only ask that we both focus on problem solving.
Remember when you post first to online sources without contacting me, a new wrinkle has been placed in our relationship. At work, you would also wish that your supervisor consult with you privately about your performance instead of speaking out loud with the entire office.
Although we have not received many negative reviews, I find that the true message is lost when one is venting, spewing, etc. I have found some of the postings have been false at times because the whole story did not come out. Please give us a chance to review things with you. Thank you
Also, new software is being presented to healthcare professionals to provide a database that would allow the healthcare office to also know about anything you have posted in the public domain. You could be viewed as a negative patient. I see nothing good from an adverserial relationship and am concerned about all this online posting and checking. It can be a positive and a negative as well.
3)Well we covered suggestions, frustrations, complaints and online posting. Please feel free to let us know anything positive or an employee who has been a positive also. Compliments are always welcomed as well.
Finally, in closing, hopefully you have noticed that my focus and care has always been you, the patient. It is why I rise at 4 am everyday for nearly 30 years, return all my emails, perform care calls and do a fair amount of service for those that need it. I have even done some house calls. You can see some of my favorite charitable causes online. The positive reviews online have actually be the source of some generous benefactors giving us some financial help. I am grateful for this and for those that have helped us in a positive manner.
